Elsa Lee Sau-Ha, Lau Yau-Lin, Yolande Leung Yui-Ting

 

This speaker team comes from Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Council Ltd. which is a NGO in Hong Kong, China. All 3 speakers are Brain Gym® Instructor/consultant.

 

Dr. Elsa Lee Sau-Ha is Service Director in the Council supervising training, research and services for the seniors. She organizes trainings and provides consultancy services on quality management, service design for dementia care, hospice care, and Brain Gym in Hong Kong and Mainland China. Her research interests are service management, evidence-based therapeutic intervention and Brain Gym®. She is author or editor of more than 10 publications and training kits.

 

Ms. Lau Yau-Lin is the Chief Officer on child care services. She supervises 8 child care service units, including 7 nursery schools and 1 child care centre, providing services to more than 1,000 children from newborn to 6 years of age. She participated in a series of studies on pre-school services and Brain Gym®. She is an expert in child care field with Master of Social Science in Counseling and Master of Education in Early Childhood Education.

 

Ms. Yolande Leung Yui-Ting is a registered social worker. She worked on the brain health promotion project which used Brain Gym® as intervention for seniors with Mild Cognitive Impairment or early Cognitive Impairment for over 5 years. She also has much hand-on experience on using Brain Gym® for preschoolers with special educational needs. The results have been very encouraging.
